The Performance:
The Absence of the Spoonful of Sugar is a bittersweet love making practice in the shape of a performance piece. Years of intertwined analog and digital encounters and intimacy challenged by precarious living, neurodivine reality filters and healing processes, Danny Banany and HOARDBAE` finally find a format to become one. Layering, linking and filtering serially reproduced mainstream art like fragments of music, channeled doodle visuals, poetry and dance, the two artists overcome the distance that separates them, offering a panorama of sensory arousal and a political peek into their personal perspectives. Oscillating between a psychedelic fever dream and q***r class-conscious discourse, Danny and HOARDBAE` perform their act of artistic intimacy with thousands of miles between them.
