Virginia Twins began on a farm in Virginia, where we spent two weeks studying the teachings of Jerzy Grotowski, focusing on movement, impulses, and presence. Upon returning to our lives in the Twin Cities we have developed our own theater practice based on that work. We create theatrica

l dance work grounded in movement, improvisation, presence, and play. We always create with the intent to experiment, to q***r the question: what if we did things differently? Is that really how the story goes?
