And that’s a wrap on . A huge thank you to all of our anxinf friends who made the journey to attend the show, the manufacturers, vendors, volunteers and staff that make this possible. And a BIG hats off to our Show Director and CAO of theNMRA - National Model Railroad Associationn for over 20 years, Jenny Hendricks. Her heart and commitment to the hobby is incredible and we all thank you AND the team of incredible volunteers that support her for what you do. Hats off to everyone. 👏

Atlas Model Railroad Company, Inc. and James Murray — they worked to provide a special edition car. Watching people get autographs from a celebrity on their new train car… absolutely the best. Thank you Atlas for creating some truly magical moments within the hobby!

Atlas was excited to meet James “Murr” Murray at Trainfest 2025!! Murr, from the show Impractical Jokers, bought the house that was home to the Pacific Southern Railway model train club in NJ. Atlas worked with Murr to produce a special run PSR HO FMC 5347 Box Car to benefit the non-profit PSRY club along with local first responders. Check out the below to get your car today!

Join us as we present the first-ever NMRA Service to the Hobby Award to celebrity James Murray "Murr" (star of Impractical Jokers and the Pacific Southern Railway

🌟 Why This Matters: When the legendary 60-year-old Pacific Southern Railway Club faced an uncertain future, Murr didn't just step up—he stepped IN. He and his wife purchased the Rocky Hill, NJ home housing this incredible 5,000-square-foot layout with over 12,000 feet of hand-laid track, saving it from being dismantled forever.
Under Murr's participation (and his amazing team), the club has been modernized with virtual memberships, a new website, and expanded outreach—all while preserving 60 years of model railroad heritage. This is what SERVICE TO THE HOBBY looks like!
