NEW RELEASE: A song for those who are exhausted, pi**ed off, and still somehow hoping the world will wake up before it's too late.

Can’t you see we’re being pushed to hate each other while the people in power keep feeding the machine? We’re stronger together.

Listen to the full song on your favorite platform, then come back and tell me which line hit the hardest!

One year ago (yesterday), I released two versions of my single “Lungs of a Legend”. I couldn’t decide which I liked more, so instead of doing a standard version and calling the more pop one a remix, I released them simultaneously and called them both “versions.”

When I sat down to write it, I remember trying to imagine what would sound good with Kelly Clarkson’s vocals if she were belting it out on a Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show. That was literally the creative spark behind the “Band Version”. It’s also the reason I released a dropped a karaoke video on YouTube!

The night I recorded it in my room, I did it in two takes. Right after finishing, my stepmom called to tell me my paternal grandmother had passed away. I’d like to think maybe I was being spiritually supported in some way, because to this day it remains the easiest song that just flowed out of me - despite being one of my more vocally challenging songs. It was also new exploring a completely different sound that felt raw and less produced.

Anyway, I genuinely love both interpretations for different reasons, but the “Dance Version” took on a whole different life of its own… and somehow went on to become one of my top performing streaming songs (currently my 2nd most streamed song on Spotify). To this day, it remains one of my favorite tracks. I can’t wait till one day do a music video for it.

Crazy it’s been a year. If you ever streamed it, shared it, or supported it in any way - thank you. It means more than you know.

I’ve got a bad habit of shelving songs that aren’t “perfect.” Truth is, I’ve never really seen myself as a vocalist, so hearing my own voice back isn’t always easy. But I’m in a season of getting out of my own way and saying what I came here to say anyway.

On my birthday, Feb 25, I’m releasing my next single, “Risk It All.” It almost got buried with the other “maybe later” tracks. Not this time. I’m choosing to share more, hide less, and put the work out even when it makes me feel exposed.

It’s not my strongest, but I do hope you enjoy it.

Friendly reminder my first children’s book “Keep Trying!” is now available. Initially, I’d decided not to post this video because I was hoping to have a proper sit down with the The Kelly Clarkson Show or The Drew Barrymore Show, but it’s a topic I feel holds a lot of value and I wanted to give a little more insight on what led me to doing this project with EverKind Collective.

Whether you’re a child or adult, the way we talk to ourselves about failure matters. I hope this book serves as a stepping stone toward refraining the narrative that failure is somehow weakness or “the end”. Honestly, I think it’s brave, and a necessary part of growth.

I hope that you enjoy it. It’s the first of many to come!

Out of respect for Charlie Kirk, his family, and everyone impacted by yesterday’s tragedy, I’ve decided to postpone the release of my single “License to Kill” that was originally scheduled for this Friday.

Although the song itself is a double entendre (truthfully, it’s about s*x, not violence), the timing would feel in bad taste. Some things are bigger than music, and right now, I believe the focus should be on healing and compassion.

My heart goes out to Charlie’s loved ones and to everyone who is hurting in the wake of this senseless act.
