Bringing a Professional Sound and Light Show to Summer Festivals and Fairs, and Fall, Winter and Spring Club Shows, all around Wisconsin, the U.P., and wherever the need for The Best Rock Hits are called for! RISING STAR was born out of ashes of the once popular 80's tribute band, "Rising Phoenix"; a band that Leader and Founder of RISING STAR, Todd Ashbeck, started in the fall of 2012, and led until his uninvited departure. After a mutiny caused Todd's former bandmates to steal the LLC and band name behind his back, Todd formed a Much More Professional Caliber Band, playing an Even Bigger Variety of Rock Hits from the 70's and 80's. Being one of Wisconsin's Most Experienced and Respected Lead Guitarists, as well as a WAMI Nominee, Todd hired some of The Best Musicians in the state to join him. Band members include:
