Welcome. My name is Zachary Hanlon, and I am a craftsman, an artist, a writer, and, most importantly, a person who has wrestled deeply with the questions of life: Am I enough? What is the meaning of existence? What is my purpose? These questions have shaped the contours of my journey, influencing both my creative work and my faith.



For much of my life, I sought meaning in creativity, relationships, knowledge, spiritual exploration, and fleeting pleasures. I drank deeply from wells of profound creativity, intimacy, and even spiritual awakenings, yet always found myself thirsting for something more enduring. My search for identity, purpose, and healing ultimately led me to the one source of true satisfaction: Jesus Christ, Yeshua, whose name means “God is Salvation.”



My Journey to Faith

I didn’t begin my life with these convictions. In fact, they were the last truths I would have embraced. But everything changed one unlikely night in 2015, in a Detroit nightclub at 4 a.m. There, in a moment I couldn’t have anticipated, Christ revealed Himself to me. He wasn’t distant or condemning—He was near, humble, and tender. It was as if the very fabric of existence whispered His truth: He brings into existence whatever exists.



From that moment, my heart began a profound transformation. The deep scars of rejection, worthlessness, and insecurity that had shaped my life were met with healing—not a superficial fix, but a balm for the deepest wounds of my soul. I came to understand that salvation is not merely a gift God gives; it is woven into His very nature. In Jesus, I found not just rescue but deep, abiding restoration.



Faith and Art

My faith and my creative journey are inseparable. In every piece of art I create, every word I write, and every wooden masterpiece I craft, I seek to express the beauty of redemption and the profound truths I’ve come to know. My work reflects this journey—a combination of raw humanity, divine inspiration, and the power of healing.



Through woodworking, I’ve come to see the parallels between crafting something beautiful from raw materials and God’s transformative work in us. I delight in creating pieces that embody purpose, precision, and beauty, just as the Creator has lovingly shaped my life.



A Call to You

I don’t know your story, but I do know that, as a human, your life has been touched by grief, trauma, and the questions that keep us awake at night. I’ve been there. And I invite you to look within and ask yourself if there’s something more, something greater, waiting to heal the unreachable scars of your heart.



The God who spoke the universe into existence is near to you, not distant. He is both magnificent and humble, and His healing salve is offered freely to all who seek Him. My hope is that my art, my story, and my work might point you toward the One who heals, restores, and brings life in its fullness.
