I'm going to be a little vulnerable for a minute.

Lately, streaming has been weighing on my heart. Sometimes it feels like the only time people show up is if I'm playing a certain game or if there's something in it for them. What I've always wanted is a community of people who genuinely enjoy hanging out with me not just the game I'm playing.

I cried yesterday because I started wondering if I'll ever reach my dream of becoming a Twitch Partner. I'm trying so hard not to let those thoughts win, because I truly love streaming and the community I'm trying to build.

With that being said... I'm still showing up. 💜

I wanted to be transparent with you all about why Glam & Game Thursdays have been put on pause.

When I first started the series, I was really excited about creating a space where we could hang out, talk about life, makeup, gaming, and just have a fun girls' chat while I got ready. 💄🎮

Unfortunately, the support just wasn't there. I realized that the majority of my community right now is made up of men, and while I'm incredibly grateful for every single person who stops by my streams, makeup content naturally isn't something that interests a lot of them. Because of that, most Glam & Game streams felt like I was doing my makeup and talking to myself, and after a while that became really discouraging.

One of my biggest goals has always been to build a community where I have more women who love gaming and makeup women who enjoy chatting about beauty, trying new looks, and just hanging out while we game and talk. Right now, I just haven't found that audience yet.

This doesn't mean Glam & Game Thursdays are gone forever. I'm simply putting them on pause while I continue focusing on the content that's helping me grow my community especially classic Resident Evil, HD Randomizer Mods, Silent Hill, horror games, and other variety games.

My hope is that one day I'll build a community that enjoys showing up for me, not just for one specific game. When that day comes, I'd absolutely love to bring Glam & Game back.

And to all my makeup lovers out there, if you're a woman who enjoys makeup, loves talking about beauty, and would genuinely enjoy hanging out while watching me recreate makeup looks live on Twitch, I'd love for you to join our little community.

Lately I've been feeling a little discouraged.

I'm not looking for people who only show up when I'm playing one specific game or when they need something from me. I'm trying to find my tribe people who genuinely enjoy me as a streamer, love hanging out regardless of what I'm playing, and want to be part of the community I'm slowly building.

My channel is centered around classic Resident Evil, HD Randomizer mods, Silent Hill, and all kinds of horror games, but I also enjoy streaming a variety of other games from time to time. More than anything, I'm hoping to find people who are excited to be there for the laughs, conversations, and good vibesnot just because of one specific game.

I know that kind of community takes time, but I won't lie... some days it feels lonely. If you're someone who enjoys supporting creators because you genuinely enjoy who they are, not just what they're playing, I'd love to have you as part of this journey. I appreciate you more than you know. 💜

I hopped into Hardcore Search & Destroy just trying to practice my sniping... and let's just say it wasn't going well. 😂💀 The enemy team got a couple wins and started acting like they were the greatest players to ever touch Call of Duty.

So I said, "Alright... enough of that." Put the sniper away, pulled out my main gun, and we started making that comeback. 🤣

Then I got the FINAL kill to win the match...

Suddenly I'm "hacking." 💀

Funny how I wasn't hacking when I was getting folded every round. The killcam literally showed y'all camping in the corner after talking all that mess about how "real players don't camp." 😂

But my favorite part? As soon as I turned my mic on to defend myself (while my AC was sounding like a jet engine because it's hot as HELL 😭), another girl on my team randomly hopped on the mic and started backing me up. 😂 I was over here like, "HELL YEAH! Girl power!" 🩷

That's the kind of women I love running into in COD. Women who support other women instead of trying to be "pick me" girls for random dudes in game chat. We need more of that energy. 👏💕

🎉 I know this might not seem like a huge deal to some people, but it's a really big deal to me. 🥹🩷

I think I just received my very first email from an indie game developer wanting me to check out their game! 🎮😭

As a small streamer, moments like this remind me why I keep showing up and chasing this dream. I'm honestly so excited and incredibly grateful that someone thought my channel was worth reaching out to.
