The majority of fatal home fires occur at night when people are asleep. A smoke alarm wakes you up before it's too late and detects fires in their early stages, giving you and your family critical time to escape before flames and toxic smoke spread. For maximum safety, install smoke alarms in every bedroom, outside sleeping areas, and on every level of your home, and test them regularly! Take advantage of this opportunity!

Artist Housing Cluster

Through an arts and cultural development focus, HomeWorks: Bronzeville’s intentions are to rehabilitate residential and commercial properties, enhance green public space, engage neighbors and visitors, and encourage sustainable growth for artists and the Bronzeville District. Our project’s backbone is an artist housing cluster where each owner-occupied property is a container for a professional artist’s live-work practice, to incubate entrepreneurial culture and youth development in Bronzeville.
