Welcome to Milwaukee Mandalas! Take a peek at what I’ve been working on lately! 👇 Hi! I spent a lot of time at her house creating decorations.

My name is Christina Destrampe and I'm the artist behind Milwaukee Mandalas! I began dabbling in paper crafts when I was preparing for my son's second birthday. My mom is an artist and had a Silhouette Cameo machine used to cut out cardstock. This continued on, year after year. When my youngest was born, my mom gifted me her machine, as she upgraded to the next model. From there, I learned adhesiv

e and iron on vinyl and joined a group of friends in a small crafting business. After the craziness of making Christmas ornaments, I looked into other crafts to explore. I found my first paper layered mandala design and gave it a shot. The rest is history....

I have since made about 3,000 mandalas - selling on Facebook marketplace, my Facebook business page, and my four retail locations - The DEN Emporium in Elm Grove, Serendipity Boutique Marketplace in Greendale, and The She Shed in Hartford as well as limited quantity at Frankie's - A Gift Shop in Thiensville.

A super tiny restock that I brought to Serendipity Boutique Marketplace right around close.

My helper and I were working in the classroom to get the 250 year celebration kits ready plus a touch of organizing and cutting. So I had to bring in the little bit that I had ready since I knew the Milwaukee section especially would need a little love.

I hope to get more kits added sometime next week. We’ll see 🤔 I also have to restock the shed and Frankie’s Thiensville plus prepare for the firefighter spouses event next weekend. All while doing all the mom things 😬

I have officially entered the “what day is it” part of summer vacation. 😆

But I discovered that it is 10x worse when you have a head cold. I am working to get stuff made but it is very slow going.

Plus since I haven’t been to the office since the boys started summer break so I’m even more discombobulated. 😬

But I did get this pretty heart mandala done. So at least that’s something. 😆

This or that?!

Last week, I showed a sneak peek of the Maltese cross design for an event coming up. But then I realized I hadn’t shared the finished product! 🤦‍♀️

There are quite a few options with the design - including or not including a variety of elements. They’re about split in half for my event coming up.

Which one do you want me to bring to stores??

I had a 𝘭𝘰𝘵 of interest in this design, so I prepped a small batch—𝟭𝟱 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.

Each kit is $50 and includes:
• Pre-cut cardstock pieces
• Frame (your choice of color)
• Foam adhesive dots
• General instructions

I was drawn to this design right away—and seeing it come together in layers did not disappoint. 🌷

I *think* this might be my favorite cat design that I’ve made so far!

It doesn’t resemble either of my kitty angels but it is just striking. 💚

It was a cat themed day with a couple of cats day but now I’m switching over to Milwaukee designs. 😉

Who is interested in a kit of this design? 🙋‍♀️

It came out after I already set the 250th anniversary designs in my June classes. And I wasn’t planning on making it but something called me to see if anyone was interested in a kit. It’s well designed and will come together nicely so I couldn’t not. 😆

I’ve been working on something pretty cool the last few days.

Okay, I’ll tell you. 😆

I am so excited to be part of the spouses event for the Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association annual conference!!!

Naturally, we had to make something firefighter related - enter the Maltese cross. There’s 2 different variations one with added details and one left as is. I can’t wait to see them come together in a few weeks!
