Last night we closed out the season of An Evening of Unexplainable Events, and I’m still thinking about how perfect that audience was.

This season has been a strange, hilarious, impossible little ride. New pieces were tested. Minds were allegedly read. People made choices they immediately regretted. A beautiful evening, really.

To everyone who came out this year, thank you. Seriously. Whether you bought tickets, brought friends, left a review, told someone about the show, or simply sat there looking deeply confused in the most supportive way possible, I appreciate it more than you know.

We’re taking a short break for summer, but I can’t wait to pick things back up after the season. There are new ideas coming, which means I’ll be spending the summer obsessing over tiny details no reasonable person would ever notice.

Perfectly healthy. Very normal.

Thank you again for making this season what it was.

One of the biggest challenges with the new material I've been developing over the last 18 months is that it's apparently a little too convincing.

After the show last night, several people were certain I had secret helpers planted in the audience or someone feeding me information from the back of the room.

Honestly, that's a pretty fair guess.

But I can assure you there were no plants, no hidden assistants, and no one helping behind the scenes.

Everything you saw was performed entirely by me, which is exactly why this material spent the last year and a half in development.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made last night such a memorable experience. You were an incredible audience.

P.I.N. codes.
A first kiss in Albania.
A Sonny & Cher wedding.
Cherry bombs. Dirty martinis.
And a phone call that definitely shouldn’t have worked… but did.

Last night, I rolled out some of the newest pieces I’ve been obsessing over, stuff that’s been quietly driving me insane and finally is ready to make it to the stage.
Less “tricks,” more moments. More personal. More how is that even possible?

Honestly, it’s a glimpse of what next year’s show will be like, and I can't wait.

If you want to say you saw it before it got out of hand…
we’ve got 2 shows in may before we break for summer.

I wish I could say everything went perfectly smooth last night.

It did not.

Someone forgot their PIN mid show.
A Sharpie exploding in my hand.
And other moments that definitely were not in the script.

But that’s not what people will remember.
They will remember when a room full of strangers became something else for a little while.

They’ll remember a word appearing on her arm.
A song that brought someone back to a high school dance.
And when three strangers’ rings linked together like they’d known each other forever.

Those are the moments you can’t fake.
And they’re different every single night.

P.S. After the show I played four Connect 4 games at the same time without looking.

Won three.

We’re not discussing the fourth.

I could say last night’s show was exactly the kind of responsible, classy evening Milwaukee is known for…

But that would be a big fat lie. Last night was wild.

We uncovered P.I.N. codes, narrowly avoided getting shot in the neck, learned about a first kiss, and played with connected wedding rings. Most importantly…Drew demonstrated the rare skill of announcing things most people keep to themselves. 😂😆😆😂(IYKYK)

Honestly, the crowd made the night. Smart, quick-witted, and completely willing to lean into the chaos, which is exactly when the show gets the most fun.

Last night was unreal.

We had the usual, Mind reading and Dry, sarcastic commentary.

But for those who stuck around after the show…I played four games of Connect 4 at the same time.

Blindfolded.
Didn’t look at a single board.

Went undefeated.

Midlife crisis?
Some men buy sports cars.
I quietly destroy people at children’s games.
