CSBA Day at the Races

It’s with sadness that we announce the passing of CSBA member, Chris Alleyne. Chris would make the trek from his home state of New Jersey to participate in many of the monthly CSBA rides and gatherings throughout the years. He also created our 2016 CSBA calendar. Chris was an avid rider and motorcycle enthusiast who owned a Honda Goldwing and a BMW S1000RR. He further extended his enthusiasm for motorcycles by creating a YouTube channel originally called “Small Guy Big Bike” but known later as “Big Guy Big Bike” where he shared news, tutorials, and his insights on all things motorcycle (with the occasional cameo from his son).
His presence will be truly missed by all who knew him.

The November ride report is up. Thanks again to Rusty Bucket and Rick Johnson for stepping up and leading the groups. It was a good turnout given the colder morning temperatures. The final ride of the year is coming up on December 7 and the route twists its way through Berks County.

This past Saturday, the Eastern PA Chapter of the CSBA held its September monthly ride, "The Shamokin Screamer". We had 46 riders in attendance, so we split into 5 groups based on desired ride pace. A full report has been posted on the website for everyone to read and each of the ride leaders contributed to the summary. Thank you to all who came out to enjoy the ride with us and offered to help with the groups. It is you that makes these rides a fun time for everyone. Our next ride is on October 5th and invites went out today. Feel free to invite your friends. There is also a link to the October ride toward the bottom of the report.
