📢 Believe me, talk with your principal or school about photo and video releases! If your school allows it, filming your art show is an amazing opportunity to capture memories for students and families, while also showing off your program!
I show my annual “Art Fair Video” to my classes on their last day with me every year. That’s why it’s 40 minutes long 😆, that and the fact that there are around 500 students’ artworks included. The students are so LOCKED IN watching it! No prep, no stress, and all my supplies are already put away. I can roll out the door on the last day without having to pack up supplies. ✌️
I also add timestamps for each grade level, contest, and section so students and families can easily skip around and find what they want to see.
I make this video every year because I want the students to see their growth and how creative they really are. I especially love seeing the variety of projects my 8th graders make 🥹 It shows the kind of freedom they get in my classroom!
I had a great turnout at the art fair this year, and I’m so proud of the students!
