My 10 year old son: “I can’t wait to call my friend!”

Me: “Oh yeah - you’re teaching him something in your game right?”

My son: “Yeah. I’m coaching him.”

Me: “Oh. You have a coaching business?”

My son: “Yeah. He’s not paying me.”

Me: (kind of joking kind of not?) “Oh. Sounds like a lot of coaching businesses.”

I just had to laugh. First of all, the laughter of recognition because how many years have I spent “having a coaching business” where I had hardly any paying clients…? (A lot. About my first 5 years actually).

I’m really grateful for how far I’ve come.

At this moment in time, I have 10 paying clients across my various programs.

I have so many clients!

Since finding and claiming my niche as a copywriter, designer, marketing and business coach for soul purpose businesses, I’ve now worked with 60 different business owners on owning their voice, and building authentic marketing, branding and business strategy.

Going back to my son… I’m grateful for the opportunity to model to him working towards something that matters to me and creating my life by design. One of my core memories from my elementary school is the word “perseverence” posted on the wall.

Among it were other values… probably honesty, kindness, etc…

Perseverance stood out to me. Maybe because it’s kind of a funny word. It’s always a little confusing how to say it… is it Per-ser-veer? Pre-ser-veer? Per-se-veer? My 10 year old mind found it complex in an interesting way. (How do YOU say it?)

According to Cambridge dictionary, Perseverance is the steady and continued effort to do or achieve something, even when it is hard or takes a long time.

If you are reading this and you are wondering when your time will come…I want to share that the key for me was really about finding my niche. The one I could put my whole heart behind.

Full Moon Goddess Coworking today was AHHHMAZING

We roared like lions, danced, and tapped into sacred sound.

And we got sh*t done!
