Saturday Night at worship I asked everyone to make a list of their ongoing sins and/or things they wish to stop doing. Then give that list to someone who will at least once a week ask them how they are doing and pray with them. We all need spiritual partners in life and if we are going to make progress we need help. This all was inspired by John the Baptist words in Luke 3 “Show by the way you live you have repented of your sins”. If we want to live rightly and be different from the world then we need to help each other. I know this is a big step for some but please consider the rewards of this small sacrifice.
