I’m a few days behind but GO Great Lakes Productions will be producing a short movie in Midland MI for the 2024 Detroit 48 Hour Film challenge.

The process of securing locations, and confirming cast and crew is already underway. It’s starting to look like a team 🙂

So, thanks in advance for all the help and encouragement as we prepare. It’s going to be a fun time.

Oh, and hats off to the folks making this happen in Detroit. Thank you for letting us be a part.

And as always, we all look forward to seeing the crazy process and results from all the competing teams.

Whelp, here we go again. After a two year break, we're making another short in the Chemical City area. :D

I'm going to start bracing myself for next to zero sleep but it'll be a blast!
..(and I hope it doesn't snow sideways).

Nov, 2019. GO Great Lakes Productions enters the FPFP!

So, I'm excited to be making a movie in Midland again... and doing it with some fantastic folks. Some old and some new. It's going to be WAY fun!

Little by little, I'll be location scouting and talking to potential cast and crew. Some are already on board which is quite encouraging.

Before this though is the Detroit 48 which is right around the corner. Be on the look-out for some great short movies made right here in Michigan!

So, an announcement of sorts...

GO Great Lakes Productions will be producing a short movie in Cadillac, MI for the 2018 Four Points Film Project.

This competition takes place in November but, preparations have already started.

I've been wanting to do this for quite some time. I'm pretty excited...and I'm sure it'll be snowing sideways for the whole weekend. Maybe I'm slightly less excited now.

That's the scoop for now.

FANTASTIC weekend of movie making with friends from far and near!

I look forward to bragging about the hard work Michigan artists put out to make a movie that will compete internationally with other amazing artists in the 2017 Four Points Film Project.

Look for information coming soon on our 5th short movie, a bts video and many stories of forgoing sleep and working in the cold.
