Given the absolutely ridiculous reaction that I’ve received from some members of the community I’m stepping away from this whole fu***ng project. I hope you guys are happy with your little world that you’ve created where nobody is allowed in unless they’re part of the club. I am not ruling out further legal action myself considering everything that’s transpired. But I’m going to shut off commenting on this page moving forward as there is nothing left to discuss. If anyone feels as though they did not receive something that they were supposed to from myself or RST video please reach out to me directly. My email is [email protected]

As everyone saw today Mr. Smith announced that he’s going to include RST in his new film. We wish him the best of luck in his endeavors.

On my side due to legal issues with Raj Thapar we have decided to move to a new location. Keep your eyes peeled for Savages Retro Arcade and Collectibles opening soon in Leonardo NJ! 🙂

Thanks again for all your support and I’m very disappointed in the way things played out. RST is still for sale to the highest bidder so if anyone wants the IP make an offer. The 1.2 Million was just an asking price. If no one wants it, we’ll start selling merch and goodies again soon!

Hey. Quick update. I’ve texted Raj a few times today. No response. I located the lease. I’m the rightful tennant. Kevin Smith asked me to not use his or Jay’s likeness with the new RST. I’m sad about that but it’s their right.

Another snowy late night outside MY store RST Video. as I sit here and reflect on events events from today the first person I think about is Mr. Thapar. he was the man that gave Kevin the chance to make clerks. I met with him for the first time in his fragrance shop in Hazlet and we sat for an hour. He told me the story of how Kevin came in and pitched the idea to him for the movie. He had the foresight in the sense to allow a young kid to make a fu***ng movie on his property with very little for him to gain. His son seems to have lost the plot. Not only did he attempt to take advantage of me he did so in a very gross way. I assume he thought his relationship with Kevin would be enough that he would be able to beat me no matter what. Well guess what? Check mate

You may have seen on the Instagram account that the landlord at RST video attempted to extort me today. I had a conversation with him two days ago that was very promising. I offered to pay him way more than I said and he was still reticent and asking for more.

I went back into the store today and Raj was there again. “How much do you want to offer?” he said. I thought the ball was in his court. when I asked for clarification he told me that according to his understanding of the law when someone is evicted the stuff in the store now belongs to the owner of the store. He asked me for $2500 to get the stuff back that you guys donated.

I thought this was a little bit fishy so I called my lawyer who said not only was that potential extortion which is a criminal offense but also there has been an evection moratorium since March. He did not ever get illegal evection because evictions are impossible right now.

No I don’t know if Raj knows any of this. He’s clearly new to the business world. When I originally negotiated the contract with his father we were approaching signing an agreement. Raj jumped in told me not to speak to his father anymore and that he was in charge. “He’s an old man” he said. in a roundabout way he accused me of taking advantage of his elderly father. The man that allowed Kevin Smith to make Clerks.

so part of me wonders if he knew this whole time that I didn’t know that there were no evictions. he probably thought I couldn’t afford a lawyer because I’m just some guy. Well he’s wrong. And either he gives me the keys to the store and all of your stuff or there’s going to be serious repercussions.

I am still the legal tenant of RST video. Give me the keys Raj. And give me our stuff.
