I’m Sue — mother of 3, grandmother of 10, lifelong sewing enthusiast, and the creator behind all the cozy critters you see here. My love for sewing began back in elementary school, when I made my very first project — a simple apron — through 4-H. I continued to build my skills and eventually started Sue’s Country Sewing, where I offered alteration services and stitched everything from memorable Ha
lloween costumes to special outfits. These days, my favorite projects are the ones made for my grandchildren. 🤍
A few years ago, I created my very first hooded towels for grandchildren — and they were such a hit that “Grandma’s Comfy Critters” was born! Every hooded towel I make is 100% original. I don’t use patterns; instead, I design and hand-cut each piece myself. I pick an animal that inspires me and bring it to life through thoughtful detail and decades of sewing experience. Because of this, no two critters are ever exactly alike — each one has its own personality and charm. My hope is to share these cozy, cuddly creations with your families, bringing comfort, imagination, and a little extra love to bath time, beach days, and snuggly moments. Thank you for supporting my handmade small business. 💛
