Dominican music has lost one of its most beloved voices.

Alex Bueno , known for his unforgettable contributions to merengue and bachata, died at 62 after a battle with brain cancer. From “Colegiala” to “Que Vuelva,” his music became part of Dominican culture, family celebrations, and Latin music history.

His voice will continue to live on for generations.
