Time really flies when you’re having fun. I’m at a point in my life when I can look back and just embrace how far we’ve all come.🥰🫶🏾
Having music in your life is truly a blessing because not only will provide a lot of value to your life, but it will also put you in situations where only the unspoken magic it’s truly real.
Last memorial weekend was another year of a lot of work and a lot of proud feelings and joyful tears because of what happened.🎉🎉
Always a blessing to share the space with so many musician brothers and sisters, our mestres presence here bringing their energy, history and our shared love for samba.💚💛💚
Samba is the music that brings the Brazilian soul and the expression of all these emotions that can’t be transmitted or transmuted except through the sound and feel of this music.🙏🏽

to that time I had to do one of the scariest things I have done as a singer!! 🎤🎶🫣And fill IN the opening act at for a musician friend that ended up with apendicitis and these two masters pull me into the LAST MINUTE improvisation of the Cuban song Longina.

At the very beginning my voice cracked- I was so scared but then Dean held my hand through it and that was one of the most magical musical moments ever!!
