Nicky n’ Ricky Pt. 3 was a success

✅ Set the vibes right
✅ Played our own tunes
✅ Had a good time

It was an honor getting to open for this edition of LISA’S KICKBACK 👧🏽🏠 👧🏽🏠 at Jolene Downtown Miami

Shout out to Kris* and the team for having us out 🫶🏻

Can’t wait to be back at our favorite basement

Fun fact: Both our last names are Gonzalez, but we’re not related. Just a proper coincidence.

I was making jokes about it earlier, but, fr, this is the way I’ve wanted to live my life for a long time now

I’ve always wanted to have people that call on me to create, to have people I get to create with, and to have people I get to create for

Reminds of that Fast and the Furious quote:

“I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bu****it. For those ten seconds or less, I’m free.”

I’m free bro. I’m free.

I call this my “how I get booked for shows” technique

This is such a huge milestone for me! Making my LISA’S KICKBACK 👧🏽🏠 and Jolene Downtown Miami debut alongside my bro Nick Gonzalez

I’ve been going to parties here since it opened, I’ve made so many friends and memories because of this spot

Shout out to the entire Link Miami Rebels team for creating one of my favorite venues in the world

So many legends have graced those decks, it’s more than an honor to get my opportunity to share my art. See y’all on the 24th! ♥️

Rinsed out a new one this past weekend

‘May I Please’ came from wanting to just make fatter dubs and chunkier drums. Has a lot of those evolving synths I love from some of my favorite Dutch and English producers.

It’s fresh out the oven so you can only really hear it during my live sets

CARDO out ✌🏼
