Lina Caceres
Born in Ibague, (The Music Capital of Colombia). She began her music career playing the violin at age 11 at the Music Conservatory of Tolima. At age 14 she chose the Viola as her principal instrument and was selected to be a part of the National Batuta Symphony Orchestra. Sponsored by the President of Colombia, they toured Colombia in 1993-1994. In 1995 she she

graduated from the Music Program with an emphasis in Viola. Lina's been an integral part of various Symphony Orchestras including The Baranquilla Philharmonic, The Valle Philharmonic, The Cundinamarca Philharmonic, The Colombian Symphony, The University of Javeriana Orchestra, The University of Tolima and more. In 2005 she graduated from the prestigious Pedagogica University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. During her tenure at the University she was a Violin Teacher at the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Colombia. In 2006 she began a new chapter in Miami, Florida. She played with the Miami Symphony, Alhambra Orchestra, Maitland Symphony (Orlando, Florida), and The Walenstein Symphony Orchestra. Beyond teaching violin and viola, she's played with major recording artists' such as:

*Concerts: Gliberto Santa Rosa, Juan Fernando Velasco,Diomedez Diaz, Jorge Celedon, Michelle Tumes, Marco Antonio Solis and Marc Anthony.

*CD and DVD Recordings:'Voler a Amar" de Los de adentro, Charlie Zaa, Los Trio, "acustico" de Alex Campos y Marcos Witt, "Duele" de Chenoa, "De creer en ti" "mi sueno" de Ana Isabelle y "primera fila" Franco de Vita 2011. MTV Unplugged "Juanes" 2012.

*Television Soap Opera: El baile de la vida "Caracol tv" Bogota. El Fantasma de Elena, "telemundo Miami."

*Television Shows: ESCANDALO TV, SABADO GIGANTE, Y DON FRANCISCO PRESENTA: I'l Divo, Eduardo Antonio, y Tito el Bambino.

*Latin Billboard Awards: Paulina Rubio, y Calle 13, en el 2007. Christian Castro, Gloria Trevi, Reik 2009. Intocable, jenni Rivera 2011.

* Premios lo Nuestro : Prince Royce 2012.
