No extra anything… just me hoping for one sweet hello.
At 30, single, with 7300$, no kids, no partner… and somehow that made people think I was behind in life.
They said I waited too long.
That I’d regret choosing my own path.
That being alone like this would wear me down.
But it didn’t.
I bought a rough piece of land—uneven, overgrown, far from perfect.
Most people saw problems.
I saw something I could build.
Some days I worked through frustration.
Some nights I crashed without even changing.
But slowly… things started to shift.
The land got better.
And so did I.
I stopped feeling like I had to explain myself.
Stopped thinking quiet meant lonely.
Stopped believing I was missing something.
Now I’m 34.
The land is thriving, worth more than I ever expected.
And me?
I’m not waiting for anyone anymore.
I already chose myself 💛
