Yes, I felt fearโbut I did it anyway. And Iโm so glad I did. ๐
I took a solo journey to Egypt in honor of myself, my family, and the art that flows through me. And it taught me this:
We are all connected.
Across centuries, across continentsโ
In stone, in sky, in soul.
Through the frequency of Love. ๐
From the Sphinx to the Red Sea,
the bustling markets of Cairo to the waves of the Nile,
to the ancient tombs of the Valley of the Kings,
all the way to the top of the Great Pyramidโ
where I named my painting โHATHOR,โ
in honor of the Goddess of Love and Protector of Women. โจ
Tapping into the earth, sun, moon, stars, and sky,
I felt the pulse of something greater.
The ancient wisdom.
The smiles of strangers.
The energetic resonanceโ
A memory older than words.
A truth that belongs to all of us. ๐
Eternal gratitude to the land that nourished my soul,
the friends I made,
the children I laughed with,
the teachers I learned from,
the temples I prayed in,
and the sacred art that inspires me endlessly. ๐งฟ
Thank you, God, for keeping me safe.
And thank you to every version of me who made this possible.
My 15th country was a dream come true.
The culture, the people, the food, the artโ
all of it awakened something ancient within me.
This experience is now part of my lineage.
Part of my creative process.
And I promise to carry this energy forwardโ
into my work and out into the world. ๐ซ
They say to walk like an Egyptianโ
To lead with the heart.
I understand now.
Itโs the only direction that matters. ๐ค
