Snoopy Sandwich Sounds :) I am so excited to officially team up with Peanuts to celebrate their 75th anniversary. Has there ever been a better brand alignment? What a delight! It’s incredible how well these animations hold up after so many years. Each frame is such a marvel! Watching the Peanuts specials makes me feel the same way Snoopy feels after he devours that sandwich. They always bring me so much joy. Mickey Mouse Ice Skating Sounds :) The holiday season is here and what better way to celebrate than with some festive seasonal foley! Deck the halls with balloon and slide whistle! This animation is Walt Disney’s “On Ice!” originally released in 1935. It really boggles the mind that each frame was drawn by hand over ninety years ago – it’s still mesmerizing today. Wishing everyone a lovely holiday filled with the sounds of merriment and mirth! Let’s get some freaking mirth up in here! With love, JH :) .

Tom & Jerry Sounds :) Kicking the year off with some classic cartoon comedy! This clip is from a Tom & Jerry episode called “Cat Napping” originally released in 1951. My favorite sound here is the plane going by — created by vibrating a rubber mallet against the drum. The small metal chain on the drumhead adds a rattling texture to evoke the propellors, and I’m also blowing air into the mic to provide some low-end, giving the plane real a sense of scale within the scene. Mm! It’s the little things. And who doesn’t love the sound of bubbles? Satisfying! Hope you enjoy these sounds! And wishing everyone a wonderful 2026 filled with lots of joyous sounds (and lots of naps that are hopefully much more successful than Tom’s in this clip) animation

SpongeBob Sound Effects! We’re going full circus mode on this one! SpongeBob cooking krabby patties might be the most difficult scene I’ve ever done (stay tuned for the blooper reel! This one took *a lot* of attempts haha) How do you take your burger, medium rare with a side of playing cards, tissue paper, some crumpled up balloons and a plastic ruler? That’s crazy! Same here. Also I didn’t have a guitar slide with me so I used a little glass spice jar. Works like a charm! Hope you enjoy these wonderful cartoon beeps and boings! Have a wonderful day! - JH :) burger

Pulled it out of thin air Here’s our rendition of the “Song of Storms” from The Legend of Zelda! Jon and I bonded over a shared love of video games, and how they contain some of the most beautiful music ever written. This was the first and only take with no rehearsal. I asked him if he knew the tune and then we jumped right in! The arrangement genuinely came out of nowhere! Music is magic! Filmed by Paul Brasil, mix by Joshua Lee Turner

Snoopy Sounds with (No music version!) In celebration of Valentine’s Day, here’s the Snoopy sound effects video without the background music. It was so much fun to work with Laufey on this – she’s such an incredible musician, she picked up the timing of all the sounds like it was nothing. And without the background music you can really hear the detail of her slapping herself on the forehead – now that’s commitment to the bit! Scroll back a few on my page to hear the original version *with* the music. What a delight! Hope everyone gets to make sweet sound effects with their crushes this valentines day!

Survivor Sounds with Jeff Probst! Oh baby! It is an absolute delight to welcome the host of Survivor, Jeff Probst, onto the channel. I’ve literally watched every episode of every season of Survivor, so it was quite special to make this video in celebration of the show’s 50th! Do Jeff and I have what it takes to outbeep outboing and outboop all the rest? The tribe has spoken and they voted for a balloon?? If I was stranded on a deserted island, I could survive with just plastic wrap, some wind chimes, and a bag of cereal. It is not easy to get the timing right for all these sounds. Jeff absolutely nailed it! There will be a full longform video showing the whole process of how we made this coming out soon! stay tuned for that. Hope you enjoy these epic fire sounds! - JH
