🎨 Michigan artists! OC Illustration is looking for live illustrators to join our team! 🤍

Hi everyone! OC Illustration is a live illustration studio based in Michigan. We provide elegant, minimalist fashion-style illustrations at weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across the Midwest!

We’re growing our team and looking for talented, enthusiastic artists to join our small roster of contract illustrators in Michigan.

✨ A little about the opportunity:

- Paid, part-time, contract work
- Approximately 2–3 events per month (you build your own schedule!)
- Most events are 4–6 hours, primarily evenings and weekends
- Events throughout Michigan, with potential opportunities in surrounding states
- Training to learn our signature OC Illustration style and workflow
- No prior live event experience required!

Who we're looking for:

- Artists with strong foundational drawing and gesture skills
- Someone who is comfortable working with markers or alcohol markers
- A fast learner who is open to learning our specific illustration style
- Someone personable, reliable, and comfortable interacting with guests

Our goal is to create beautiful, timeless illustrations that guests can take home as a meaningful keepsake. During training, you'll learn how to create our signature portraits in approximately 5–10 minutes!

I had the BEST time illustrating for Tessa & Adam’s wedding at the Butterfly House this past weekend!

Such a cool and unique Detroit wedding venue — and one I definitely didn’t know existed until now!
