Let’s make well-rounded humans! Students should have PE on their schedule, but if you don’t see arts-both visual and performing arts-ask questions!
The world would be a dreary and boring place without the arts. 🎭🎨💃🎶

Several arts education policies are continuing to move forward, including HB201 (State Seal of Fine Arts), career readiness legislation, and ongoing discussions about protecting instructional time for visual and performing arts.

Many school leaders remain unaware that BESE Bulletin 741 requires weekly visual and performing arts instruction for K–8 students.

Policy only works when schools have the awareness, guidance, and support needed for successful implementation, and that remains an important part of the conversation moving forward.
