As a dance teacher, I understand why friendships matter. Dance is supposed to be fun, and of course our kids want to be with their friends.

But as a dance mom, there are a few things I care about even more.🫶

Who is teaching my daughter?
Is she actually being taught the foundations?
Is she being challenged at the right level?
How does her teacher respond when she struggles?
Is this environment helping her become more confident, coachable and resilient?

Because you can make new friends in a dance class.🥰

But you can’t replace years of training in the right environment.🙌
