Zentangle’s August journal prompt in my shades journal. It was a fun challenge working from black to white, and I wasn’t sure how I felt about the results. But as usually happens, when I step away and come back a few days later, I can see it with new eyes. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I tried out a new to me tangle: by Shie Naritomi. I really enjoyed drawing it!
