My art is a variety of handmade forms using traditional techniques with contemporary styles.

I enjoy creating pieces that evoke emotion and invite viewers to interpret their own stories.

These few photos don't do a justice for how long and much of a process I went through to complete this project.
The slabs were obtained in October of 2025. Throughout the rest of last year, I gathered supplies (wood, pinecones, epoxy, etc.) little-by-little.
I chose the layout of the slabs, kept the natural contours, and my wife created the wood cookie & pinecone design. When planed, the pinecones looked like roses🌹; her favorite flower.
A friend of mine helped plane one slab to an even thickness, while a local company was able to even out the whole top. I cleaned the underside myself) after epoxy was cured.
Working with epoxy since 2009, I've phased out of glossy finishes for boards & tops, and rather prefer a satin finish.
Here is the final result.

I've had this leaf table for a long time, and it's been through a lot; wear & tear, meals, and occasional crafting atop of it.
So, I decided to make it my small weekend project restoring the top.
Steps:
🔹️ Sanded off the old coat down to bare wood; removing minor dings & scratches.
🔸️ The last stage of sanding was to smoothen the surface.
🔹️ An exact match of stain was applied
🔸️ Two coats of lacquer was sprayed, and then buffed with a polishing sponge to a satin finish.

Along with a few donated items I received a few months ago, this pipe was in the works to be refurbished.
Although the soapstone bowl was intact, some of the seed beads were broken, the stem was weathered, and the energy was barely a flicker overall.
With inspiration, I got to work and completed this pipe, giving it new medicine.
What was used:
🔹️bison 🦬 suede wrapped around the stem body
🔹️rescued bison fur
🔹️white leather lace
🔹️deer & black elk leather lace
"How much $???" It was given to me without cost, and I couldn't bring myself to sell it, so I gifted the pipe to a relative.
