I’ve been out of the salon… but let’s be real, I still needed my fix 💇🏼‍♀️

So naturally… I trimmed my friend’s lawn with kitchen shears

Safe to say—I’m READY to be back behind the chair this week, creating, styling, and working with some real hair again...

This weekend truly has me extra grateful ❤️
For this country, the freedom we get to live in, and the even deeper freedom we have in Jesus 🇺🇸✝️

OK OK this might not be a big deal for some people but cutting 5 inches off of my Mane today was HUGE!

I feel like I haven't had it styled in about a decade!
I just have so much hair…
I'm so picky…
And I honestly just prefer long hair with no layers
Or a mom bun to get stuff done

But as my daughter is so into brushing my hair
And truthfully I was just bored out of my Gord!
TWAS TIME!

I might even go shorter in the near future but I'll my goodness this is exactly what I needed and absolutely rocked it!

I'm so excited to see all the new creative styles I can come up with with this new length

My hair feels alive and healthy like never before!

i'm very special thank you to .by_whitgolden for maintaining my hair all of these years in between my own hair cuts (not recommended no matter how good you are… We can only cut our own hair so much ) leading up to this! You have blessed me with exactly what I wanted!

If only you knew HOW MUCH SLEEP your stylist can lose a night before or after a day at the salon! YOU WOULD LOSE SLEEP TOO! But DONT- cause we love what we do!

•Dreaming about formulas we will mix up to achieve your dream hair...
•Hoping we booked enough time for every service and everyone is on time...
•Wanting to remember to ask you about the trip you were taking in between visits or that confronting convo you were going to have with your mother in law ...
✂️The night after....
•Did I cross check your hair cut....
•I wish I got a better before and after...
•I DIDNT TAKE AN AFTER PHOTO!!!!
•I forgot to charge for the toner...
•Praying for conversations we had together and so very grateful YOU are in my chair!...

*just to name a few*

All the things no matter how heavy or light! ITS WORTH EVERY MINUTE I miss out on.
