Meridian Southern Soul Awards Honors the talented artists of Southern Soul who are not always recognized for their work & talent.

The Meridian Southern Soul Awards (formerly Underground Southern Soul Awards) is a committee of radio and music insiders with the desire to recognize so many of the unsung talent of Southern Soul. The Meridian Southern Soul Awards (formerly Underground Southern Soul Awards) were created to honor the talented artist of Southern Soul who are not always recognized for their hard work and talent. e reviewed bodies of work from November 1, 2020 to July 31, 2021 to select the nominees, with a few exceptions to this rule. We hope that this endeavor will be the one of many for years to come and the beginning of a new tradition in Southern Soul.
