🚨 SOLDIER'S SALUTE 🫡
In a bustling indoor food court, a battle-worn U.S. Army veteran sits alone in a booth.
His metallic prosthetic arm rests beside a half-eaten burger. Tired eyes stare into the distance.
Then a tiny blonde toddler, barely two years old, toddles unsteadily down the aisle.
Chubby cheeks, wobbly legs, striped top and khaki shorts.
The little boy stops at the veteran's table.
TODDLER (babbling in a tiny voice): "Ba-ba... gah."
Without hesitation, the toddler raises his small right hand to his forehead in a clumsy salute.
The veteran's melancholic face shifts to surprise.
He stands up slowly, faces the tiny boy, and returns the salute with his right hand — eyes locked in intense connection.
The veteran kneels, gently picks up the toddler, and holds him against his chest.
Both break into warm smiles.
Camera pulls back...
The man in the navy blue t-shirt at the next booth has been watching quietly the whole time.
He is the toddler's father.
A proud, gentle smile spreads across his face as he nods softly.
No words needed — his expression says everything.
Who taught this little boy such respect? 😢❤️
