Today, it’s been exactly 6 months for me in America.
Lately, it’s been getting really hot, up to 90 degrees. Luckily, my company just bought me a fan to work in the heat.
My wife Sam told me that Stephan is probably going to get me a job working with him soon. I don’t know how long that will take though.
I’m going to take my driver’s license test next week. I’ve been studying Ohio traffic laws and road signs. One thing I didn’t know about America is that the DMV here doesn’t provide cars or motorcycles for you to take the test. You have to borrow or buy your own vehicle for the test lol. That’s different hahaha.
In Thailand, the DMV provides vehicles for everyone. For cars, you can choose automatic or manual transmission however you want. It’s like no matter how luxurious your car is, when taking the driver’s license test, we’re all equal hahaha.
But here, if you fail the driving test, you have to take classes. In Thailand, you can just keep taking the test until you pass.
Summer is coming, and my life has been great with my wife. We hang out at new places and try new food. I tried Popeyes Chicken, Bob Evans, Hot Dawg Scooter, and Biggies Custard ice cream.
Living here has made my cooking skills and bartending skills better. And of course, I only make food and drinks for my wife and my mother-in-law.
Life in 2026 has been great. I know it’s already been 6 months for me, but we still have 7 months left until 2027.
