DAY 8: FADED

Heyyyy y’all! I’m back with another one for the . I went back and completed “FADED,” which was of the challenge.

I actually came up with the melody for this song in school one day. I had a certain vocal melody in my head that kept going over & over 😵‍💫😵‍💫 but in a good way! Lol

I started writing it in 2020, which was pretty much during the pandemic. I still want to achieve that original idea though, but this version will do for now 🫣

DAY 14: HARDER

Hi, hello everyone! I’m back again with another song for the . This one is titled “HARDER” and it’s fairly new to the crowd.

I actually wrote it last summer when I was going through a breakup with someone 🫣 he was making it so hard for me to move on, and I ended up writing this song as a result of everything. 💔

DAY 12: The Pruning

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope everyone is having a splendid day with family and friends, or just simply resting. 😌 I’m here with the next song of the , titled “The Pruning.”

I started writing it in 2018, when I was 18 years old 😭 I initially wanted to title it “Serve the Lord,” but then I read the book of John and I was so inspired by it that I decided to write “The Pruning” instead! 🥹

I hope this blesses someone on today. Based on John 15, and His’ endless love for us 🩷🩷🩷 thank you, Father for the gift of songwriting!

DAY 10: Get it Right

Good evening everyone!! I know I’m super duper late but the music had me stuck chile! 🥹 if you’re a songwriter, you know how it feels to have writers block. But, I’m back with a new song for y’all: Get it Right!

It’s a rewrite of the original version that I actually completed in 2021; this one has a more subtle tone than the original version, which was a bit saddening. 😩

DAY 6: Brand New

Hiiii everyone! I am back with day six of the with today’s song, “Brand New.”

I started writing it in 2021, when I was senior in college. The song’s trajectory has taken a turn, but it actually sounds pretty good, especially with the original version I had planned! 🫣

I wrote this song with my superstar cousin in mind. I can definitely hear his voice on this one! 🫶🏽🫶🏽
