DOA needs new artists to perform! In order to fulfill this need, we're hosting our 3rd invitational event! If you've never performed at DOA before or performed at a limited capacity, this opportunity is for you! See details below!
Qualifications:
1. Participants must be new comers to DOA, partial participants of DOA. (i.e. only performed in mixtape or draft shows), or haven't had a feature performance in over 2 years.
2. Must follow DOA via Facebook, Instagram, & TikTok.
Rules:
1. We'll take in person sign ups from 4pm-4:50pm. The tryouts will be from 5pm-7pm
2. Artists will get to perform one full song. No combining songs to make one song. Song shouldn't exceed 5 mins.
3. The DOA team will pick a winner solely based on his/her performance at the end of the event. You must be present to win. The winner will receive a feature spot on the October 17th show.
What the judges are looking for:
ACTUAL PERFORMANCE! While we STRONGLY prefer artists to perform using an actual performance track without main vocals, you can perform to your to your track as is. But we need to hear YOU! Not just the track. We also look for crowd engagement. Don't get up there rapping/singing to yourself mane.
