There’s no festival season without the people who make it all happen. From long days and early mornings to the behind-the-scenes moments that keep our events running, our volunteers show up time and time again—and we’re incredibly grateful.

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible volunteers who went above and beyond during the 2026 festival season. Join us in congratulating our 2026 Volunteer Award winners and nominees and thanking every volunteer who gave their time, energy and heart to Memphis in May. 🫶

Some of our youngest participants crossed the finish line on their own two feet. Some cruised the course in style from the comfort of the most high tech strollers, and a few of our youngest future runners even stopped for a mid-race bottle break before continuing their journey to greatness. 🍼😂

Whether you were chasing a personal record, pushing a stroller, or just enjoying a beautiful morning along the river, you helped make this year's Great American River Run an unforgettable celebration of fitness, family, and fun.
