Anne opens up about walking through a difficult season and wrestling with her own identity. She shares that Hey Girl was written from a place of needing to remind herself that her identity isn’t found in being an artist, standing on a stage, what others say, or even what she thinks about herself—it’s found in who Jesus says she is.

Her message to girls everywhere is simple but powerful: you are loved, you are beautiful, and your identity is found in Jesus.

A special moment from the K-LOVE Fan Awards! After being named Group of the Year, MercyMe takes the stage to celebrate more than three decades of making music, ministry, and being part of the Christian music community.

Since forming MercyMe in 1994, the band has seen their songs become part of countless lives—and their own. In their acceptance speech, they reflect on how songs can become “timestamps” that remind us of where we’ve been and what God has done along the way.

With plenty of humor and heartfelt gratitude, MercyMe thanks their wives, team, and everyone who has supported them throughout the years while sharing a powerful reminder about the importance of worship.
