Spent last weekend near Holly Springs with these four wonderful ladies, my sister, Nancy, Gretchen Turley, Laura Nathan and her mother, Sheryl Bowen. I have known all of these women since I was a child and we are still close friends so many years later! I feel blessed!

First painting in many moons, a gift for our friends in Memphis who let us stay in their guest house whenever we are visiting. The subject is our friend’s mother on a trip they once took to NY!

My father was never outwardly affectionate towards me most of my life. I think it was probably true of most father’s from that generation. I love this photograph because it shows my dad, as a proud new father, holding my hand as I take my first few steps. Francis showed his love for me in so many other ways over the years and I continue to be grateful to him today. Happy Father’s Day Dad!
