I’ve always said that Forbidden Fiber Co. was the dream I never knew I wanted. For 17 years, it’s shaped my days, challenged me, and connected me with people I never would have met otherwise.

Over the years, FFC has grown far beyond anything I imagined. And, somewhere along the way, I realized that what I love most is the creating.

So, after much thought, I’ve decided it’s time for Forbidden Fiber Co. to leave our retail space and move home.

I don’t have every detail of what comes next, but I do know this: I’m not finished creating. There are still stories to tell, colors to dye, and ideas waiting to become something real.

This chapter is ending, but the story isn’t over yet.

A funny thing about this Pride and Prejudice Mystery Kit. I had a design all ready to go in my head. I knew the exact quote from the book I wanted to use, how I wanted to frame it out, everything.

Then my shelf trophy/photo prop hardback copy arrived, and I threw it all out the window. To say I love the way this design came out is the understatement of the year.

Each kit comes with a fat eighth of our hand-dyed fabric, an exclusive design, eight (8) skeins of our hand-dyed thread, a custom needleminder, and, as always, you choose your project bag.

This is a super quick pre-order! I’ll be closing it on Sunday, June 14th so we can ship by June 19th.
