w unreleased tracks from the Memphis Soul Sessions are dusted off for an exclusive Deluxe edition of the album! The re-release will contain 3 new unreleased tracks as well as brandnew songs Sue is currently writing, to be recorded with the legendary Hi Rhythm musicians in Memphis. While final production, overdubs and vocal recordings will again take place at Legacy Studio with the dreamteam Dennis Letnom and Joram Pinxteren. We found the perfect showcase match in Geels Events.

Ms Moreno steps into the world of Memphis Soul and Southern gospel with her new, groundbreaking work recorded live in Memphis. Recorded on tape in an analog Memphis studio with equipment as used in the RCA Studio and the Grand Ole Opry, she teamed up with musicians of Hi Rhythm and Stax records fame, guaranteeing the highest of quality music from the soul. Sue started writing, composing and planning for her first session at the Memphis Magnetic Studio. Together with bandleader Lester Snell she worked out the final song arrangements, and recording took place on various dates during the year. Final mixing and overdubs were done in her home country of the Netherlands at Legacy Studio with the Memphis vibes and creativity and 'Memphis knowledge' captured by Dennis Letnom (vocal production) and Joram Pinxteren (engineer / production)

He Speaks To Me Everywhere is a completely new song I wrote last year. As happens often, I woke up with a melody and some words in my head. I wanted to add an extra chapter to The Memphis Soul Sessions to make the story complete. Diving deep into my faith for the lyrics in combination with an uplifting, poppy and catchy sound.
 
The demo was sent to Memphis. The legendary musicians that accompanied me for The Memphis Album were touched by the spirit and the message of the song. My hero on guitar Joe Restivo said: ‘Do you realize you are working with the Hi Rhythm Session here’ as I had embellished the song with more chords than usual in 60s Soul and Gospel. 
It worked out perfectly and I am over the moon with this new Memphis production.

Recorded at world famous Royal Studios engineered by Grammy winner Boo Mitchell while I produced it all from my studio in the Netherlands.
Vocals, percussion, overdubs and mixing done at Legacy in the Netherlands. Mastering: Bernie Grundman Mastering, Los Angeles.

Something strange is going on as there are a few tracks from the album missing on Spotify. Including Help Me! It is being worked on and there will be a new Deluxe release this year. Still it is more than annoying and goes to show how much we have been made dependent on tech.
