President Trump, it was announced, is giving one million dollars to the rescue and clean up effort in Houston. A nice gesture should be recognized. He is a billionaire businessman, by all accounts, who donated what would amount to about 10 cents compared to someone who has one hundred thousand and made the same percentage donation. Every donation counts. Thank you Donald for your generosity. Give what you can and appreciate those who risk their health walking through standing water to get to the stranded and appreciate those who donate food and water rather than profit from the circumstance and thank the mechanics who will be donating their time and energy to help repair water damaged cars rather than profit from the catastrophe. Thank you to the people who opened their homes, businesses, churches, mosques and temples to the less fortunate and shame on anyone who uses this disaster to profit. The profiteers are out there and will be gouging and profiting for months and months to come. They are a minority who are an embarrassment to all good people, as are the K*K, the supremacist and the N***s who would band together to "help their own," but help drown those who look, pray or believe differently than they. Now is the time for all Americans to come together and let the haters, the bigots, the racists and the perpetrators of anti semitism know that they and their leaders will not succeed in bringing their home grown terrorism to root in our great country.

JOIN us for a great 2013.
Did a little traveling in 2012. Visited San Diego a couple of times. Visited New Orleans a few times. Spent a week in Cuba. Had to fly from outside the U.S. due to the American ban. It was a great trip, a fascinating country with terrific people. Memorable!! Stay well and keep in touch.
