Our Story

If you're looking for unique entertainment that brings people together and holds their attention well beyond traditional entertainment choices you have come to the right place. Hermit Crab racing is unique because it offers people of all ages the opportunity to participate in the entertainment in virtually any venue wherever people gather together. Although there are virtually no limits to the shows format it typically begins when the race director calls on participants to select a crab of their choice from a stable of up to 100 Hermit Crabs. Once the selection process is completed the Race Director explains the race in detail to match your events. (This is virtually limitless) Music is provided throughout the entire show so there is no need for a Band or DJ. However, the Advance Show can be tailored as filler between Band/DJ breaks, which offers entertainment in incremental sets with a typical duration of 15 to 30 minutes for each set. The Advance show consists of 5 heat races where each winner is entered into the winner's cycle. Once the heat racing is completed the 5 heat race winners are brought back out for the finale race where 1st, 2nd winner receive memorabilia tailored to the event and a photograph of them with their Hermit Crab and pit crew. The Standard show is tailored to entertain as one continuous show and consists of 12 - 14 heat races where each winner receives memorabilia/trinkets tailored to the event. (Additional prizes are virtually limitless as well, but must be negotiated in advance of the event) Heat racing is in 3 incremental sets with a 10 to 15 minute break between each set. Once all heat racing is completed the heat race winners are brought back out for the finale race where 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners receive memorabilia tailored to the event and a photograph of them with their Hermit Crab and pit crew. (Additional Grand prizes are virtually limitless as well, but must be negotiated in advance of the event). There is virtually no limit in customizing a show to meet the sponsors unique requirements: Party Planners Small and Large businesses (Lounge) Party of all kinds (Private, Public, Holidays etc.) Corporate event Seminars Clubs/Lodges Hotels/Resorts Fund Raisers Groups (Family Reunions) Fairs and Festivals You Name It......
