TODAY from 5-7pm! Art in the Heart of Medina is still on for today! Artists are setting up now inside Total Realty Source (buy a house) in downtown Medina, TN. We're right in between Rhodes Family Diner (grab a meal) and A Third Place Coffee & Books (grab some coffee and a book!) We'll have LIVE music from Dusty strings and LIVE art demonstrations from local artists.

Help raise funds for Artists on Main--Medina, TN by purchasing the original piece or a Limited Edition Signed Print that was created from a collaboration between two of our co-founders--- Blankinship Fine Art Studio and MegMc Photography. More of the details are below!

**A Brand New "Medina, TN Collection" original painting that was created to raise funds for Artists on Main-Medina, TN** Hey guys! This piece is a brand new original that was created to raise funds for our local art scene. As a co-founder of Artists on Main-Medina, TN, I connected with another of our co-founders, Meg McNaughton of MegMc Photography to paint an original photograph of downtown Medina that she personally photographed. I LOVED the photo of the lamps that she took along the sidewalk on Main St. and this is my painted recreation of her scene.
All proceeds from the sale of this piece and it's 11x14" Limited Edition Premium Linen Prints (that will be signed by both Meg and myself) will go to Artists on Main-Medina, TN to help create more amazing events for our community, educate people about the power of art, and bring excitement and commerce to our town (especially it's rustic and beautiful downtown area.) This original is 11x14" and was created with oils over acrylics on durable and transparent acrylic glass. It'll come framed and ready to hang. It's titled "Nothing could be finer..."

This is a great opportunity to share your favorite parts of our community!

**Medina and West TN Residents!** I'd love your help! This is a brand new 16x20" original painting on acrylic glass that's the view from my front yard on East Church Ave. here in Medina. It's an example of a new, ongoing original painting series that's showcasing the unique, interesting and beautiful qualities of our home---Medina, TN. Where I'd appreciate your help is for you to send any reference photos dealing with our city that you think might make a great painting.
It could be an interesting photo from your neighborhood, a cool photo of downtown, a photogenic pic of City Hall, a photo of cheese-fries from Rhodes Family Diner, a pic of your favorite coffee from A Third Place Coffee & Books, your child making a funny face with their favorite teacher, a photo of Mayor Scottie Betts doing Mayor things---literally any interesting photo that makes you think of Medina or is Medina related. Why help me out?
If I choose and use your photo as a reference, you'll receive a FREE 11x14" limited edition signed premium linen print of the painted piece that I completed of your photo (a $95 value.) You'll also receive the first opportunity to purchase the framed original at a HEFTY discount (though it's not required, of course.) It will also be cool to know that your painted photo will be a part of United States (and possibly international) exhibitions that will be showcasing what's awesome about our community.
If you'd like to participate, simply message me your interesting photos and I'll get back with you shortly if there are any that I'd love to paint.
