York Woodworks & Mosaics Being a woodworker, I enjoy taking on all types of projects. The result was my first mirror made with Talavera tiles.

We are a craftsman/artist located in northeast Ohio, creating Talavera-inspired mosaic tiled mirrors that are suitable as art are and/or decor for the home or office After inspiration from two trips out to Arizona over the last three years, I decided to make something with a southwestern theme. After making the first one, my inspiration grew as the ideas for subsequent mirror designs kept adding up.

At the opening reception for the “On the Wing Community Art Show”, at the West Woods Nature Center in the Geauga Park District in Novelty, Ohio. The exhibit is open from March 28 to July 26, 2026. Stop out!

All entries in this exhibit carry a primary theme of ‘wings’ and ‘nature taking flight’, and are in a variety of formats and materials. My entry is a side table repurposed with a new top surface, incorporating my mural of bluebirds.
