Honey bees! Mixed media 16x20 canvas.
Over the spring bees started to invade my bedroom. It got so bad we were being stung in our sleep. I was taking up to 50+ bees from my room daily. We still don’t even know how they get in but this is in memory of the experience. If you are interested in purchasing this piece message me for details.

Ink blot test 1. two 16x20 canvases painted in acrylic. The canvases can be hung either way, to show the face or the butterfly. It also close in the dark so you can see another view at night. This painting shows my love for art and psychology. I hope it really makes you think about the paining and how things can be viewed in more than one way. I just finished painting this old dresser as a Quality Quarantine project. I’m still debating if I want to add anything else before I put the clear coat on. 
I had started painting this the day my father died. I had planned on dedicating it to him and giving it to him but he never got to see it.
Will be displayed in the upcoming WAGE art show on January 4 at heartland point in Orrville.

WAGE artists displayed in the Reflections Show 2018. This exhibition was shown at the Wayne Center for the Arts in Wooster, Ohio, from January 12 through February 17, 2018.
Fifteen members of WAGE, Wayne Artists Group Effort, displayed 45 works of art in "Reflection," the theme suggested by Mike Jackson, in a group vote at our March, 2017 WAGE meeting. Then we worked the rest of the year, making all new artworks for this themed show.
Many thanks to all of those who contributed to making our show happen.
We have shown our work together, as WAGE, at The Wayne Center for the Arts since we formed WAGE in 1986.
Three pieces Kelly Aasen-Aboulkacem made for the 2018 WAGE “Reflection” Exhibition currently at the Wayne Center for the Arts. The closing reception will be held February 16 from 6-8. Link for more details in comments.
