We need a walk behind tractor (aka 2- wheeled or push tractor)!!

Anyone know of one for rent or for resale within 4-5 hrs of Richmond, VA?

We are looking for one that can take attachments like:
Power harrow
Bed maker
Mower
And similar

Like those BCS brand ones that allow 30” rows.

Just to make it easier on our backs when we eventually change up these 50+ garden beds!!

We can also consider a new one if priced right.

New Skills unlocked!!!

Last week William took a Plumbing 101 class Richmond Community ToolBank and learned how to install a toilet and sink piping, the wax ring, change fittings and hoses, etc!

Toilets are heavy!!

Buuuut we do know we paid $200+ to have a new wax ring installed on our toilet when we moved in. The leak had already did some floor damage.

Now I have the skills to fix it myself! Saves on floor damage, saves on contractor fees, and builds our confidence as homeowners!! Trust that we will also use these skills to install a basic wash sink in the barn!

Just the basics! Don’t worry we will call a plumber for anything invasive or beyond the scope of the class!!

Chicken Tenders!!

What waterers do you use that DO NOT easily get clogged?!

We have the typical tractor supply ones, their plastic white and red but also their metal ones. These both get sooooo clogged or just don’t work unless we perform a magic ritual 10x a day.

So, as we head into colder times and don’t want to be bothered with checking 3x a day… we want to invest in something better.

We have at least 5 breeding coops, 3 brooders and a main coop for eating eggs.

Soooo… I wish the bill would be lower, but we are willing to test different waterers ahead of winter.

A few weekends ago we did our first swap! We sold some chicks and a goat! We also met and made friends!!

We will do another swap soon!

We brought hatching eggs, a baby goat, chicks and some pullets! It was a very hot day and so we also had some misters, shade cloth and fans for our animals.
