I was honored to participate in the Grand Entry, carry a sponsor flag, sign autographs, and do a queen run.

2027 Ogallala Round Up Rodeo Princess

I was honored to make my very first appearance as the 2027 Ogallala Round Up Rodeo Princess at Indianola’s Old Settlers Days Celebration!! I carried the American Flag for the Ranch Rodeo and walked with the 2026 Red Willow Rodeo Royalty in the parade!! 🇺🇸 At the ranch rodeo, I also got to cheer on my dad who was on one of the teams!!!

Hi friends! I’m Shayda Schutte, and I’m so excited to kick off this page and share my journey with you. I love all things rodeo and excited to share my adventures of learning breakaway roping and competing in rodeo royalty pageants! I am currently the 2027 Ogallala Round Up Rodeo Princess! It is an honor to represent the Cowboy Capital of Nebraska!

2027 Ogallala Round Up Rodeo Princess

My year as the 2025 Red Willow Rodeo Princess has come to a close, I can't help but look back with a grateful heart. ❤️

My final appearances as Red Willow Rodeo Princess were at the Furnas County Rodeo and the Red Willow County Fair Tractor Pull…. the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable year.

This title will always hold a special place in my heart because it was my very first title. Even more meaningful, it was for my own county, making every event and every memory that much more special.

A huge thank you to the Red Willow Rodeo Royalty Committee for the opportunity to represent such an amazing rodeo and my community. Thank you to my fellow reigning royalty, Sydnee and Sophia, for making this year so much fun. I loved sharing this journey with you!

Congratulations to the 2026 Red Willow Rodeo Royalty! I wish you the very best as you begin your year.

I was definitely bummed that I wasn't able to attend the rodeo or cheer on the new royalty Saturday night! I was honored to be competing for the 2027 Ogallala Round-Up Rodeo Princess title that same weekend. While I hated missing one special event, I'm so thankful for the opportunity to chase another dream.

Thank you for an incredible first year in rodeo royalty. It will always be one I'll never forget. ❤️👑

What a fun day at the Red Willow 4-H Horse Show! 🐴🍀

Chico and I had a great day together, and I'm so proud of him!

🔵 Blue Ribbons in Aged Gelding, Junior Showmanship, and Western Pleasure
🔴 Red Ribbons in Barrels and Poles
I'm so thankful for everyone who has helped us along the way.
Every horse show teaches me something new, and I'm already excited for next year!

Congratulations to all of the 4-H exhibitors, and good luck to everyone headed to the Nebraska State Fair! 💜🍀

I had such a great opportunity to help at the Buffalo Commons Storytelling Festival’s Kidfest at the McCook Library! I read the story about Venom the PBR bull and then helped my dad Thomas Schutte and uncle Matt Bade with the roping station and got to sign autographs!

Pageant is set for 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in McCook, NE and applications are due by 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.
