Thank you Historic Trappe for the invitation, and everyone who came out today. What talented Early American artisans!

Artisan Showcase! Historic Trappe’s Early American Craft Fair will feature the work of L.T. Short Folk Art. Lisa Short is a self-taught artist inspired by the folk art traditions of rural Pennsylvania, specializing in hand-inked and painted fraktur and decorative furniture based on historic examples. Her work reflects years of study and a deep appreciation for Pennsylvania German art, and Lisa has been listed in Early American Life’s Directory of Traditional American Crafts since 2000.

Join us on Saturday, March 28, from 10 am to 3 pm at St. Luke’s Fellowship Church. Talk to the artists about their work and historical inspirations while you shop for handcrafted items and treasures including pottery, woodcarvings, textiles, furniture, painted boxes, and fraktur.

All proceeds will benefit Historic Trappe. We proudly support traditional artisans throughout the year in our museum store and exhibit fine Americana and folk art in our museums.

Show admission is $10 and includes free tours of Historic Trappe's Center for Pennsylvania German Studies and the Muhlenberg House, located just across the street from the show.
