Today we are talking about PB Designs .
Wow folks this is a good one! Parker is a young entrepreneur from Michigan who came up with the idea himself.
He wanted to find a craft he could do to make his own money. His mom Heather did not hesitate. Together they tried a few ideas before discovering decoupage and everything changed.
What started as a way to earn a little extra cash for video games, McDonald's trips, and Speedway slushies became something much bigger. PB Designs became a place where Parker could build real confidence, independence, and life skills he will carry with him long after the craft table is packed up.
Parker does the hands-on work on every single piece. Heather supports behind the scenes with coordination, design guidance, and color combinations. But the business belongs to Parker. His hands bring every item to life.
For local orders, Parker wraps each piece in tissue paper, places it in a gift bag, and writes a handwritten thank-you card for every customer. That last part matters more than it might seem. Handwriting has been a long challenge for Parker. The fact that he sits down and writes those notes every single time is something worth celebrating.
At his recent debut at the Spring Artisan Market at Warner Vineyards, Parker did not just sell his work. He connected with people. He received encouragement from strangers who genuinely appreciated what he created. And he left that market excited for what comes next.
Being a parent is hard. Being a parent of a child with autism can feel like an entirely different world. But Heather will tell you without hesitation that Parker is worth every bit of effort she can give.
And Parker is showing everyone exactly what he is capable of.
Follow PB Designs and our sponsors above to show this young man and these amazing businesses some Michigan love.
