Backroads With a Purpose

Backroads With a Purpose Community-driven vendor markets with a mission.

🧸✨ OKAY MAMAS, DADS, GRANDPARENTS & LITTLE ENTREPRENEURS! ✨🧸

I’ve been tossing around an idea and I want to see what YOU think! 👀💭

What would everyone think about a LITTLE KIDS CORNER VENDOR MARKET?! 🛍️💖

A small, fun vendor market where the vendors are actually kids! 🥹🩷

Think:
🍋 Lemonade & drinks
🍪 Homemade treats
🎨 Art & crafts
🧸 Handmade goodies
💎 Bracelets & jewelry
🧼 Slime
🌸 Freshies
🧁 Baked goods
🎀 Hair bows & accessories
💰 Little businesses & creative ideas of ALL kinds!

The goal would be to give our kiddos a chance to learn about running a little business, make some money, meet other young entrepreneurs, and HAVE FUN! 🥰

Parents could help their kiddos set up and run their booths, but the spotlight would be on the little entrepreneurs! ⭐️

I’m thinking something small, affordable, and kid-focused — just a fun way for our local kids to get out there and show off what they can create!

👇 Would you bring your child to something like this?
👇 Would your child want to be a vendor?
👇 What would you LOVE to see at a kids vendor market?

Drop your thoughts below! If there’s enough interest, maybe we’ll make this happen! 🥹🛍️✨

📣 VENDOR UPDATE! 📣

I’m splitting vendor setup into two time slots to try to avoid interfering with the church service happening at the mall. From the conversations I’ve had with the gal in charge of events at the mall, the service should hopefully be wrapping up around 12:30 PM. 🤞🏼

✨ Vendors 1–15: (check in with Backroads Whisk Co. please)
Please arrive between 12:00–12:30 PM and try to be completely set up by 12:30 PM.

✨ Vendors 16–24:
Please arrive at 12:30 PM and try to be completely ready to go by 1:00 PM.

The second setup time is also because vendors 16–24 will be set up a little farther down toward the area the church uses, so I want to make sure we aren’t interfering with their service or getting in anyone’s way while they’re wrapping up.

This is simply to help everything run as smoothly as possible and keep setup organized! ❤️

I’ll attach the vendor lineup below so everyone can find their number and know which setup time applies to them.

Thank you all for being flexible and working with me on this! 🫶🏼 I appreciate you guys so much and can’t wait to see everyone! 🍂🐾✨
